  • The Fleet Administration Officer is primarily responsible for the upkeep of the Technical Records and assisting the Stock Controller in the management of parts and supplies. You will also be responsible for assisting in the safe, efficient and fully compliant operation of Skyborne's Maintenance Department. This role will involve the use of your previous, or transferrable experience to provide the timely service to the fleet management and minimise aircraft down time though optimum preparation and organisation.

    This role will be based at Gloucestershire Airport, Monday to Friday (08:30-17:00) however, there may be a requirement to travel to any location where Skyborne aircrafts may be displaced to. 
     
    Responsibilities
    • Maintain accurate Tech Records for the fleet.
    •  Preparation of Work Orders and associated paperwork.
    •  Accurate data entry into records database, ensuring Aircraft flight hours are recorded correctly.
    •  Assisting in the process of goods in, recording accurately, batch processing for full traceability.
    • Ensuring correct storage procedures are adhered to and carrying out periodic stock checks.
    •  Maintaining the security and integrity of bonded stores.
    •  Ongoing cleanliness and organisation of the stores area to ensure safe and effective working environment.
    •  Accurate storage of material certification received.
    •  Monitoring calibration records.
    •  Raise, issue and distribute aircraft status reports.
    •  Ensuring Health & Safety and regulatory standards are met at all times.
    •  Support with continuing airworthiness duties.
    •  Support the compliance with regulatory responsibilities of UKCAA.
    •  Practice the Company’s Safety policy and Just Culture.
    Requirements
    • Experience in Stock Control and/or Technical Records/detailed administration, preferably within an aviation environment (desirable)
    • Understanding of aviation specific and regulatory requirements in the Stock Control and Tech Records environment (desirable)
    • Experience in use of computerised maintenance recording systems (desirable)
    • High standard of communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal, to deal effectively with internal and external contacts
    •  Exceptional attention to detail in order to produce accurate maintenance records
    •  High standard of numerical and organisational skills, and ability to prioritise workload
    •  Ability to concentrate and work in a fast-paced environment
    •  Readily accepts changes and adjusts accordingly
